• Employee’s personal information (address, payroll, employment and tax data) is managed in ADP Workforce Now and automatically loaded into PlanSource.
• Employee terminations and rehires can be managed in ADP Workforce Now and instantly reflected in PlanSource in real time.

Seamless, Real-Time Integration

Integration Requirements

With API technology, employee demographic information for new hires, rehires and terminations are transferred, in real time, from ADP Workforce Now to PlanSource, with all other demographic changes transferred with API technology nightly. Additionally, benefit deductions are automated from PlanSource to ADP Workforce Now for updates at any stage in the employee lifecycle to save time, reduce errors and eliminate manual entry. Below are some requirements to consider for leveraging the integration:

General Integration Requirements

  • - Employees must be U.S.-based.
    - Employees must be paid through ADP Workforce Now payroll.
    - Employees must have an “M” or “F” gender code.
    - Employees must have a valid Social Security Number.
    - Client must have a 1-to-1 FEIN match in ADP Workforce Now and PlanSource.
    - Clients must allow for an estimated 8–12-week total implementation time frame.
    - Client must maintain ADP Workforce Now as the system of record for demographic data.
    - Client must not be utilizing any other HCM partner integrations in PlanSource.

Payroll-Specific Requirements

  • - Each PlanSource benefit is required to be mapped to a unique deduction code in ADP Workforce Now.
    - Deduction codes are assigned to benefits, plan level deduction codes are not supported.
    - Payroll deductions are sent to ADP Workforce Now when they become effective.
    - Payroll deductions are sent to ADP Workforce Now on a nightly schedule.

Demographic Update Requirements

  • - All demographic updates must be performed within ADP Workforce Now.
    - Demographic updates made in PlanSource will not flow back to Workforce Now.
    - PlanSource will only handle status changes between Active or Terminated - placing employees into LOA/COBRA or any other status requires the HR administrator to do so directly in PlanSource.
    - All paid employees within ADP Workforce Now are sent to PlanSource.
    - Employees must be paid in the United States.

• All the benefits are shown in the employee pay section as deductibles.
